Our craftsmanship
Handicraft tradition in Fez
Fez, with its centuries-old craftsmanship, is where our thobes come to life. Here, skilled artisans, guided by generations of expertise, produce each djellaba. From start to finish, every step of the creation process is infused with a dedication to quality and authenticity.
The creation process
1. Material selection : We start with the finest materials sourced from local markets, ensuring they meet our strict standards for quality and durability. These materials, chosen for their softness, durability, and connection to Morocco's rich cultural heritage, form the foundation of our gandouras.
2. Masterful Weaving : Using wooden looms, skilled weavers transform materials into textiles. Skilled artisans deftly weave each thread with precision, creating fabric that forms the basis of our garments that embody the essence of Moroccan craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
3. Fine Embroidery : Each gandoura is decorated with finely crafted embroidery, highlighting the craftsman's mastery and meticulous attention to detail. This detailed embroidery adds beauty and personality, enhancing the thobe with an elegant decoration.
4. Excellent tailoring : After the fabric is woven and embroidered, artisans take over to transform the material into a garment. With meticulous craftsmanship, they cut the fabric into precise pieces, ensuring consistency in size and fit. Using both sewing machines and hand, these artisans carefully assemble the pieces, stitching them together and attaching details like sleeves and collars.
5. Final Finishing : Before it reaches you, each gandoura undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure it meets our strict standards of craftsmanship and quality. This final step in our process reflects our commitment to delivering garments that capture the essence of Moroccan heritage, ensuring they are of a luxurious standard in both construction and appearance.
